Step off the beaten path and into the hidden lives of our local woodland residents. Behind The Woods is a curated collection of intimate wildlife portraits, capturing the moments that usually unfold just out of sight.

This series follows the daily adventures of our forest neighbors—from the mischievous grey squirrels executing their latest “nut-possible mission” to the quiet, dignified presence of water birds in their natural sanctuary. By slowing down and observing the subtle interactions beneath the canopy, I aim to showcase the distinct personality and vibrant character of each subject. Whether it’s a crow’s watchful eye or a gull’s spirited call, these photographs invite you to pause and appreciate the wild, unfiltered energy that thrives right in our own backyard. Welcome to an exploration of the forest’s most charming and determined inhabitants.
